American History Essay Winners Honored at George Washington Tea Meeting

Chapter members honored winners of the American History Essay Contest at their February 10th meeting at the Madam Brett Homestead.   This year’s topic was “The Women’s Suffrage Campaign.” The students, all from St. Mary’s School in Fishkill, were presented with NSDAR and Melzingah Chapter NSDAR certificates, an Excellence in History DAR Award Medal, and a monetary award.
