MARCH THROUGH TIME

Eighteen of the Melzingah Chapter with prospectives, HODARs, and the Highland Pass Chapter of C.A.R. led off in chronological order the parade to celebrate the City of Beacon's 100th Anniversary. Starting with the 1685 Rombout Patent, followed by Madam Brett Homestead of 1709 and the seven generations of descendants, followed in 1895 by suffragettes carrying the chapter banner, and finishing with the new chapter regent Sharon Filipppini riding in a black convertible Thunderbird driven by a prospective of "Today's DAR". It was a beautiful morning, lots of smiles and great exposure for DAR.
